Project Manager

Project Manager is a professional who oversees the implementation of IT infrastructure, service, and solutions. Their main duties include project planning, resource allocation and project implementation that is in line with the organisation’s standards and policies.

Represent Project Manager as a communication roles to the customer, users, and management for all aspects of project management and performance requirements, including finance, architecture, technology, systems development, IT services, IT Solutions, service management and project schedules for enterprise level projects and/or a series of related, ongoing projects within the organization; provide guidance to the allocated project teams; support IT Managers on planning and achieving of strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible to manage issues and risks associated with the project, including balancing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks, and will manage aspects through formal change management mechanisms.
  2. Develop, implement, and maintain a detailed project work plan, including appropriate controls, governance structures and monitoring to ensure on-time, on-budget, and quality outcomes.
  3. Ensure accurate development and traceability of requirements during project lifecycle.
  4. Drive project/program tasks to completion in accordance with the project schedule.
  5. Manage the change enablement process throughout project duration.
  6. Manage client expectations, updates and buy-in, including representing ENFRASYS at governance meetings.
  7. Manage and develop customer relationships and perceptions to achieve mutual goals.
  8. Manage ENFRASYS and subcontractor staff assigned to the project.
  9. Manage change control processes for the project(s) and is responsible for overall project execution.
  10. Recognize potential problem areas against the plan, and identify and implement alternative solutions.
  11. Identify best cost solutions to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems).
  12. Determine the project approach, staffing, responsibilities, and schedule.
  13. Ensure that project resources receive any necessary training and are used effectively.
  14. Engage and manage appropriate onshore, offshore, and near shore workforces, including Service Licensing Agreements (SLAs).
  15. Assist in the sales process, including estimating work effort and expenses using ENFRASYS’s standard tools.
  16. Ensure 100% adherence to all company policies and procedures (i.e. Security, Health, Safety and Quality).

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology with minimum 5 years of consulting project management experience.
2. PMI’s Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
3. Exceptional communications and negotiating skills.
4. Results oriented / self-directed ability to drive change in unstructured environment.
5. Good client interface and presentation skills.
6. Good business acumen.
7. Time management skills.
8. Customer oriented attitude and good interpersonal skills.
9. Knowledgeable in Microsoft technologies or other IT relevant.
10. The Position might require working late hours to meet customer’s deadline.
11. Able to accept criticism and improve on it.
12. Able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
13. Must be able to work independently and good interpersonal skills.
14. Experienced in project management or project lifecycle.
15. Excellent time management and communication skills, as you will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines.
