In this role, you are responsible for Solutions Presales support on sizable and sophisticated IT services and projects. You need to assist the sales team in pre-sales support such as site-survey, Prove-of-concept (POC), requirement study, technical proposal preparation and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Support the business development team in the qualification, and analysis to determine solutions to clients’ challenges.
- Assess and understand client’s business or operational goals and recommend solutions that ensures optimum utilization of products and services.
- Providing demonstrations, presentations, and consultations to sales/marketing support services for the business development team and clients.
- Develop and deliver compelling proof of concept demonstrations for solution selling.
- Driving communication to clients on an overall IT plan including efficiently spending on existing and new technologies and integrating technology solutions to create value for the organization.
- Help establish partnerships with cross-functional technology and design teams to integrate technology, operations, and solution requirements into solution strategies.
- Take a leading role in specifying technical solutions, writing proposals, price estimation and tender responses.
- Develop technical solutions including solutions architecture, concepts, strategy planning, scope of work, best practices, and implementation framework.
- Liaising with the Microsoft team to gain in-depth knowledge, potential change, and user behaviours on products/technologies that you can relate to customers
- Liaising with solution partners for comprehensive solution delivery and support.
- Liaising with the solution delivery team for proper information handover and involve in setting expectations with all parties including customers.
- Learn and build detailed knowledge of the functionality and technology of products and licensing programs.
- Proactive explore new Microsoft technologies and third-party components and stay on top of technology to innovate new services offering.
- Compare competitive products to specify the advantageous solutions for clients.
- To be certified for the assigned learning/technology track.
- Provide technical training/sharing and sufficient information to the sales team.
- Ensuring solutions stated in the Statement of Work are best practices and in line with client requirements
- Managing the sales bid process by responding to RFI’s & RFP’s & Compliance Sheet
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree or Master, etc.
- At least five (5) years of experience in Microsoft and related industries. (e.g.: Microsoft 365, Azure, Cybersecurity)
- Experience with Infrastructure environment (e.g.: On-premises datacentres/infrastructure, Active Directory, Exchange Server, DNS, Virtualization, etc)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Experience with IT projects delivery/management, MS Office, Microsoft License etc.
- Must have Microsoft and related certifications.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude, and providing exemplary services
- Affinity to both sales and technology functions.
- Experience consulting to external clients on complex projects.
- Proposal and tender writing skill.
- Demonstrated excellence in communicating and presenting complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Good communication and presentation skills are required.
- Ability to work independently, and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
