In this role, you are responsible for technical Pre-sales consultant support on sizable and sophisticated IT Infrastructure service and projects. You need to assist the sales team in pre-sales support such as site-survey, Prove-of-concept (POC), requirement study, technical proposal preparation and presentation.

You must be equipped with knowledge and experience in networking & security solutions e.g., IT solution, Microsoft Dynamic, Microsoft O365, Azure Cloud, enterprise networking, etc.

A Technical Presales is responsible for selling and promoting goods and services of an organization to existing and potential clients through product demonstrations and professional sales pitches, typically on phone calls and e-mail communication. Technical Presales must possess strong product knowledge to respond to customers’ inquiries and concerns about the products and successfully close sales deals that would increase the company’s revenues and profitability. A Technical Presales must have excellent communication and customer service skills, maximizing strategic techniques to build customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  1. Working with business development team to determine solutions to client’s challenges and supporting the team to present proposals to clients.
  2. Deliver Technical Services to new and existing clients for product.
  3. Compare competitive product to specify the advantageous solutions for clients.
  4. Providing demonstrations, presentations, training, consultation and sales support services for business development team and existing clients.
  5. Assist in advising clients on an overall IT plans including efficiently spending on existing and new technologies and integrating technology solutions in ways that create value for the organization.
  6. Help establish partnership with cross-functional technology and design teams to integrate technology, operations, and solution requirements into solution strategies.
  7. Oversee ongoing development of infrastructure solutions within designated computing environments.
  8. Define information technology operations, processes, procedures and toolsets to manage and maintain requirements specified for a solution.
  9. Lead partnership with and team utilization efforts of off-shore resources.
  10. Manage, evaluate performance of provide feedback to coach, and provide career guidance to team members.
  11. Begin taking more active role in operational and business-development aspects of the consulting practice.

Requirements:

  1. Degree/Diploma holder in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, Information Technology, or similar degree; equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for degree.
  2. At least five (5) years of systems engineering and/or infrastructure or relevant experience.
  3. Experience in providing project deployment/pre-sales consultancy in IT infrastructure and Cloud technology.
    Significant depth of technical experience in a number of the following products/ areas (any areas): Active Directory, Exchange, Hyper-V, System Center, Office 365, Enterprise Mobility Suite, Azure, Windows Server and network.
  4. Experience working with in-house or partner’s technical personnel.
  5. Experience in removing technology blockers in a matrix organization and so enabling the customer’s business.
  6. Able to set and lead the technical vision while balancing business drivers and imperatives to help customers build practical IT roadmap.
  7. Ability in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects (where necessary), managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects.
  8. Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to details.
  9. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  10. Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan to covers sales, revenue and expense controls.
  11. Affinity to both sales and technology functions.
  12. Experience consulting to external clients on complex projects, including in leadership roles.
  13. Proposal and tender writing skill.
  14. Demonstrated excellence in communicating and presenting complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  15. Good communication and presentation skill is required.
